There’s nothing like getting to see a band who has only ever opened up for other artists start headlining their own tours. I have absolutely loved seeing all of this happen for Weathers.
Over a month ago, on April 15, I saw the band Weathers for the fourth time and, as always, it was so much fun and truly unforgettable.
To start off their second headline tour ever, they performed at the Troubadour, a legendary 500-cap venue in West Hollywood, which they managed to sell-out. It was also my first time at the Troubadour and it was such a great experience.
Weathers began their show with their most popular song, "Happy Pills”. I could talk forever about the energy in the room from just that song alone.
When I first saw Weathers, they played the song "Secret’s Safe With Me,” and I just remember being so instantly attached to it. It was what really drew me to them, so to hear it again with the entire crowd singing along, was such an incredible feeling.
Weathers also played an unreleased song called "All Caps,” which I initially misheard and thought the lead singer said the song was called, "Cats.” It was a really great song though! I’m definitely very excited for it to be released.
Another personal favorite of mine is, "Karma.” It was cool because I was standing right behind a huge speaker in the venue and the lead singer came over to stand on it for a part of the song.
After walking off-stage and coming back for an encore, Weathers ended the night with two of their most fun songs entitled, "Problems” and "C’est La Vie”.
No matter what, I will always try to see Weathers. They are seriously one of the most fun bands to see live, which is why I would urge anyone to go see them if they come to a venue near you.
The band is composed of members Cameron Boyer on lead vocals, rhythm guitar, piano and keyboard; Cameron Olsen on lead guitar and vocals; and Brennan Bates on bass, vocals, piano and keyboards.
