THE DEPTH OF A WOMAN'S HEART

The Depths of a Woman's heart is so vast, so wide, so deep;

Holding secrets never to be told.

Just as the ocean blue, holding souls of the lost and loved,

Her heart hold pains no human will ever understand.

Yet and still, she carries on!

The Depth of a Woman's Heart can feel so cold;

One can often wonder how can she still be breathing.

Trying to force a smile and happiness,

and pretend to love,

But nothing human will ever be able to fix the brokenness,

So yet and still, she carries on!

For so long she tries to forget the pain,

Tries to stop the hurt and forget the memories.

But the depths of a woman's heart can also be loud, quiet or even a lonely place.

Deep down inside, she longs to feel the warmth of true love just one more time,

but no human love can be sustained.

Somehow thru it all, she carries on!

Within her single heart, within her lonely soul,

Is a place that can have more love than any place on earth.

Yet she endures rejection, abuse, heartache, neglect,

But she tucks it away so no one will ever know,

Tucks it deep down within the depths of her heart.

Somehow, she manages to yet carry on!

Her heart; With every beat reminds her of what can be,

It causes her to wonder, "How can one's heart hold so much and never fill up"?

But the depths of THIS woman's heart bleeds...bleeds for life, bleeds for love, bleeds for happiness, bleeds for justice...it just bleeds.

But thru it all; somehow she manages to carry on.

Over time she learns how to cope and live with the pain,

How to be around others and never let them know just how much she has ached.

As the oceans waver, and the tides roll in and out; day out and day in,

So does the pains deep within; but she has mastered it for so long,

She knows simply how to just carry on!!!
