This came as a shock to so many;Those who knew Aaron have been sharing their memories and love for him since.
His older brother Nick, of the Backstreet Boys, took to social media on Sunday November 6th,to pay tribute to his younger brother.
"My heart is broken,” Nick began in a post to Instagram. "Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded. ”
He continued by saying that he had hoped his brother would walk a healthy path and find the help he needed.
"Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness is the real villain here,” Nick wrote. "I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you Chizz. Now you can finally have the peace you could never find here on earth….I love you baby brother.”

Aaron’s twin sister Angel also shared a tribute to her brother in a post to Instagram, saying; "To my twin… I loved you beyond measure. You will be missed dearly. My funny, sweet Aaron, I have so many memories of you and I, and I promise to cherish them. I know you’re at peace now. I will carry you with me until the day I die and get to see you again.”

During their Sunday night show at the O2 Arena in London, the Backstreet Boys dedicated their song "No Place,” to Aaron, which they explained was a song about family.
Backstreet Boys member Kevin Richardson, took a moment to say; "We've been through highs and lows and ups and downs — we thank you for being with the Backstreet family for 29 years, for all the love. Tonight we've got a little bit of heavy hearts because we lost one of our family members yesterday. We just wanted to find a moment in our show to recognize him… He’s a part of our family."
Aaron started his career from a very young age. He began performing at the age of seven and by the time he was about to turn 10, he released his self-titled debut album in 1997. He was incredibly successful as a young artist and attempted to transition into acting in 2001. He made several appearances in TV shows and movies throughout his life, including Lizze McQuire where he famously worked alongside his ex-girlfriend Hillary Duff for an episode.

In a post to Instagram, Duff paid tribute to Aaron saying; "For Aaron- I’m deeply sorry that life was so hard for you and that you had to struggle in-front of the whole world. You had a charm that was absolutely effervescent… boy did my teenage self love you deeply. Sending love to you and your family at this time. Rest easy.”
In 2002, Aaron made a departure from his music career and it wasn’t until 2018 that he began releasing music again. His 2018 album Love, was Aaron’s first album release in 16 years. Several singles followed that release with his latest single release being just over a month ago.
Aaron was a deeply loved artist and person. There are so many posts still pouring in paying tribute to him and his life that prove that.
