Peace On The Mountain
I saw myself for the first time.
Watched the world end at sunrise.
I felt free.
It was the first time in so long.
Realizations for a new high.
My head spinning, because I feel alive
I lost myself for the last time
Hands calloused from picking myself up
My mind is accustomed to looking for loose rocks.
Trying to avoid the instability at all costs
Exceeding every minimum to come up
Some call it being at the top.
So I recite, this is just starting off.
I've been digging up my survival skills that
I buried in the back of my mind
Everything comes to an end
It’s up to you and me my friend
Do you feel that within.
Speak up, I call to my passion,
I watched world end,
and from the end I stand,
Everlasting
