So what had happened was…Shannon K got a little more amazing! When Shannon called me with an invitation to the Lumiere Runway Fashion Show, it was a no brainer, especially since she was a part of it!
Shannon K. has continued to make her dreams come true by releasing one amazing single after another. Her latest and the one I adore most is titled, Run! Today, her ventures have expanded to the size of the horizon!!! You can catch Shannon being a BOSS as not only an artist but as the Creative Director of Lumiere Runway!!! My social media manager and I got to witness her accomplishments first hand at the Hollywood Mansion in well…Hollywood!!!
I spoke to Fionna Wong and Laurent Meler… Directors and Creators of Lumiere Runway Fashion Show. They were (and should be) very proud yet humbled about their accomplishments. Fionna described Lumiere Runway as, "her baby”. Lumiere Runway Fashion is not a show exclusive to the good ole’ US of A folks, you can expect Lumiere Runway to be hosting an amazing production in Dubai and in Hong Kong before the year ends! You can expect to see amazing designs by outstanding designers and guess what? All proceeds go to charity!!! The celebrities included Hollywood Fashion Designer, Merlin Castell, Model and Actor, AzMarie Livingston, and The Bachelors very own, Savannah McKinley. Anyone can attend this spectacular event and meet the most awesome people while having the time of your life!
Let’s take ya back for a little minute to where it all began with Shannon K! Shannon was born in India and by the age of 4, you could catch her performing alongside her iconic father [Kumar Sanu] on stage. The spotlight, performing, singing, and dancing became natural for this rising star. Fast forward a bit for a move to London. In grade school, Shannon was consistently teased for her dark skin, accent, and lisp. She didn't let these bullies get to her! Shannon turned this negativity bus around for the positive stating; "I just want to spread positivity and happiness, that’s really all I want. I love people, so I give back as much as I can. I stay involved in charities”.

While in London, Shannon attended the London Royal School of Music, to continue to pursue her lifelong dream of being an artist. She would later pack her knowledge, skills, and bags to make the courageous move to Los Angeles, California! She was more than determined to make her dreams a reality!
"I fell for a lot of false hopes. People took advantage of me for being so young. I emailed artists myself, so it was hard. I came across the email address for Poo Bear and emailed him. Just so happens, that day he was checking his own email instead of his manager. He listened to and liked me! I was in the studio the next day. This opened so many doors for me. The opportunities just kept coming.”
